FLIGHTS TO Phnom Penh’S FAQ
Most locals, expats, and tourists choose to get around by bicycle, moto, tuk tuk, or taxi. Tuk tuks offer a pleasant way to traverse Phnom Penh. Tuk tuks are generally the most pleasant way to travel.
Generally, try to avoid fresh salads or raw vegetables as they may be washed with contaminated water and avoid eating raw shellfish, raw crab and cold cooked meats. Across Cambodia, regardless of where you are staying, you are best to stick to bottled water, even for brushing your teeth.
Personally, I think Phnom Penh is worth a few days, it's a great place, but if your schedule doesn't allow that and if you got there early, in one day you could visit the Palace, museum, both markets and even have time to eat!
Siem Reap is a small and very culturally driven city, with a relaxed vibe and with good nightlife. It is a very walkable town with a lot of amazing restaurants too enjoy. Whereas Phnom Penh is the country's busy capital city offers a great nightlife and a commercial environment.
Most travelers recommend spending at least 4 days in Siem Reap to visit the incredible ancient sights, but also 2 -3 days in Phnom Penh to really immerse and get a good feel of Cambodia's recent history and present through its museums, monuments, and interesting neighborhoods.
